Drugs regulators need to work together, report says

National regulators should share data underlying decisions and trust each other’s verdicts, panel recommends

Drug regulators must remove barriers to data sharing and be more willing to recognise the decisions of colleagues abroad, a group of academic experts has said.

National watchdogs such as the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) must also become more transparent to avoid duplicating each other’s work, the group said.
