A $1.1 billion dollar offshoot of The Jackson Laboratory (JAX), the Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine, has been launched on the campus of the University of Connecticut Health Center to accelerate the development of personalised medical treatments.
It represents a collaborative effort between JAX, the state of Connecticut, the University of Connecticut (UConn) and Yale University.
