Enrolment of internationals in US grad schools jumps 8%

First-time enrolment of internationals in US graduate schools rose 8 per cent in autumn 2011, representing the largest increase since 2006, according to survey results from the Council of Graduate Schools released on 8 November.

The recent surge is largely due to a 21 per cent increase in enrolments of new students from China, CGS concluded.
