The University of Texas (UT) has released data in response to questions about the productivity of its professors.
In May, the non-profit Center for College Affordability and Productivity (CCAP) issued a report concluding that only 20 per cent of UT-Austin professors taught the majority of students, and that the least productive 20 per cent of faculty taught only 2 per cent of all student credit hours and generated a disproportionately smaller percentage of external research funding than colleagues.
