National Academies group says US is under pressure to keep up with global competition

The US should revamp its approach to attracting science, technology, engineering and mathematics talent from overseas, a report from the National Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine has recommended.

The report, International Talent Programs in the Changing Global Environment, recommends devising a new national strategy for attracting Stem talent at “all levels of experience”.
