The White House Office of Science and Technology is looking for scientists to take up one-year fellowships as in-house advisers.
In a call for interest for Presidential Innovation Fellows, published on the White House blog on 12 February, the office says it is looking for scientists working in applied fields to help policymakers accelerate technology development.
The types of technology the office is interested in includes digital inventions to improve education, as well as those that can help reduce climate change and improve health and patient care, says the office.
