Biden administration lays out spending priorities for 2022-23, with R&D investment expected to rise

Pandemic preparedness and climate change top the United States government’s agenda for spending on R&D for the 2023 fiscal year, according to a list of priorities released by the White House.

A memo sent on 27 August directs US government agencies in drafting their R&D budgets for the fiscal year, which starts in October 2022.
