Nine researchers win National Medal of Science, with 12 innovators also honoured
United States president Joe Biden has handed out 19 awards for exemplary achievements in science, technology and innovation.
Nine researchers were awarded the National Medal of Science, the nation’s highest scientific honour, on 24 October for outstanding contributions in a range of fields, including biology, computer sciences, education sciences, engineering, geosciences, and mathematical and physical sciences.
