Sherbrooke sets up diabetes chair

The Université de Sherbrooke in Quebec announced the establishment of a CND$1.4 million chair in type-2 diabetes.

The chair is intended to focus on preventative measures and early treatment. Funding has come from pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and the university.
