A federal genomics project has been awarded a three-year extension to its funding worth CND$59.7 million, Gary Goodyear, the minister of state for science and technology, announced on 17 November.
The Genomics Research and Development Initiative (GDRI) was established in 1999 coordinate federal science departments and agencies involved in genomics research.
