MHI boss wins top award

Jean Claude Tardif, head of the Montreal Heart Institute (MHI), has been awarded the Quebec government’s top scientific honour, it was announced on 31 October.

The government awarded Tardif the Prix Armand-Frappier as part of the 2011 Prix de Quebec. The prize recognises a scientist who has contributed to the development of a research institution.
