Guelph vet school launches chair in clinical nutrition for dogs and cats

The University of Guelph’s Ontario Veterinary College is to receive C$3 million in funding for an academic post focused on clinical nutrition.

Adronie Verbrugghe, a Belgian veterinarian, will hold the Royal Canin veterinary diet endowed chair in canine and feline clinical nutrition. “The impact of nutrition on health and disease is an increasingly important area of veterinary science,” she said.
