The Academy of Sciences for the Developing World (originally the Third World Academy of Science, or TWAS) is among those offering a new fellowship for students from Haïti who wish to obtain a master’s degree in pharmacology or nutrition.
The offer is being done in partnership with the University of Calabria (UNICAL) in Italy, where fellowship students may reside for up to three years.
However, the language of instruction at the university is Italian.
Applicants may be proposed by the University of Haïti (Université d’Etat d’Haïti), located in Port-au-Prince, or apply directly to UNICAL.
Applicants must be under age 35 years old, permanent residents of Haïti, and hold a BSc degree in a relevant field of the natural sciences.
