Two scientists from Morocco and Niger honoured

Two researchers from North Africa shared a prize from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) earlier this month for their contribution to development.

Zoubidah (also known as Zoubida) Charrouf from the science faculty of the Mohammed V University in Morocco received US$ 25,000 for her efforts to improve the incomes of rural women by developing an “innovative and environmentally friendly” method for producing Argan oil.
