Egypt changes science minister, again

Egypt’s interim government has appointed a replacement minister for higher education, science and technology following a widely anticipated cabinet reshuffle on 21 July.

The new minister is Moataz Khorshid, a software engineer, professor of management at Cairo University, and director of the Arab Council for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, also based in Cairo, since 2003.
