BC’s drug development agency signs deal with Roche

The Centre for Drug Research and Development (CDRD), a public funded pharmaceutical agency based in Vancouver, has signed a research deal with healthcare company F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd, it was announced on 26 September.

Under the agreement, Roche will provide an undisclosed amount of funding, thought to be millions of Canadian dollars, to CDRD’s commercial arm, CDRD Ventures Inc. (CVI), for the joint development of medical technologies.
