Award-winning young plant chemistry researcher Andrew Lamm has brought in more than ten million Jamaican dollars (US$117,000) in grants since joining Jamaica’s University of Technology (UTech) last year.
These are the first research grants since UTech established its Faculty of Science and Sport in 2009.
