The Doobay Medical Centre (DMC), which provides dialysis in Guyana, has received two million dollars in donations from Canadian firms to help it expand.
A renewed call for the government to play a more vital role in the development of the non –profit institution was made when the donations were announced on the first anniversary of the DMC launching of its dialysis services.
