Promises of climate-change funding for developing countries not kept

Industrialised countries have failed to provide the climate-change funding promised to developing countries, says a report by the London-based think tank the International Institute for Environment and Development.

The study, published on 26 November to coincide with the ongoing round of international climate change negotiations in Doha, Qatar, says that in 2009 developed countries pledged $30 billion (€23bn) to developing nations for climate adaptation and mitigation activities.
