Morsi plans to relaunch Egyptian research

President Mohamed Morsi has called for legislation to boost scientific research in Egypt. Nadia Zakhary, Egypt’s minister of state for scientific research, told the Middle East News Agency that Morsi has requested a national research plan and reactivation of national committees on virus diseases and cancer. Zakhary said that Morsi expressed interest in supporting research into energy, pollution and recycling sanitary drainage water.
