Universities say embracing Sustainable Development Goals has linked research and other activities to sustainability
Institutions that have endorsed the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals are increasingly tying operations such as teaching and research to the set of 17 commitments.
The SDGs were adopted by all United Nations member states in 2015, and they include pledges to end poverty, protect the environment, reduce inequality and promote peace.
