Springer Nature becomes ‘largest research publisher’ to sign Dora

Major academic publisher commits to ending the inappropriate use of journal metrics

Springer Nature has signed the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment, committing all of its journals to providing a wide range of metrics so that research can be assessed fairly.

It joins almost 2,000 research institutions, publishers, imprints and funders to sign the Dora declaration, which aims to ensure a balanced and fair approach to research assessment.
