National heads endorse “shared understanding” of research integrity, security and collaboration
The heads of the G7 countries have signed up to support research collaboration and the sharing of scientific data “as openly as possible and as securely as necessary”.
In the wake of their meeting from 11 to 13 June in Cornwall, UK, which involved pledges on Covid-19 vaccines and climate change, political leaders from the UK, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the United States have also issued a “research compact”.
