Support for African and South American agro-technology

Brazil plans to sponsor 25 agricultural technology transfer projects, each worth US$80,000, in Africa and South America, according to Portal Brasil on 6 August.

Twenty projects from African countries were chosen for this year, and five from South America. The agreement includes training of researchers by technicians from Embrapa, the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation.
