Canadian universities tour Brazil

Representatives from 14 Canadian universities are visiting Brazil to promote research collaboration between the two countries and publicise Canadian higher education.

The trip is being led by the Canadian Bureau for International Education and the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada. The group is visiting Natal, Recife and São Paulo, and meeting with grant agencies and institution representatives. They will also be promoting Canadian universities in a presentastion at a conference of the Brazilian Association of International Relations Offices in Higher Education.

“Canada provides the perfect mix of high-quality education and cutting-edge research that enables us to attract talented researchers from around the world,” said Karen McBride, CBIE’s president.
