Royal Society of Canada to honour young academics

The Royal Society of Canada is accepting nominations for the first cohort of its College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists.

The college is designed to honour those who have attained exceptional intellectual achievements within 15 years of getting their final degree.

"One of the key ingredients of a culture of knowledge is recognition of the emerging generation of Canada’s leadership,” said Graham Bell, the society’s president. “In celebrating their accomplishments and promise, the Royal Society contributes to our capacity, as a country, to retain our intellectual capital."
