Manitoba architecture faculty allegations probed

The Canadian Association of University Teachers has launched an investigation into allegations of problems in the University of Manitoba’s faculty of architecture.

The association has put together a three-person committee that will determine whether there has been interference with the duties of the heads of the department, whether there has been interference with research and whether there have been restrictions on academic freedom.

The specific nature of the allegations has not been disclosed.
