Konkuk University in Seoul launched an animal stem cell centre on 26 October to develop treatments for rare or hard-to-cure animal diseases, reports the Korea Herald.
According to Jung Pyung-hyun of the university’s veterinary department, the Animal Stem Cell Centre will treat animals using stem cells extracted from fat tissue.
