NTU to set up solar research centre

The Nanyang Technological University in Singapore is to spend S$3 million on setting up a research centre for the development of solar cells, Channel News Asia reported on 26 July.

The investment will be made over three years, and it is hoped that the centre will facilitate the development of systems to harvest solar energy and encourage the long-term market viability of the innovations.
