Collaboration examines effects of climate on forest biodiversity

Chinese and US botanists have linked up for a project looking at the effects of climate change on the Earth’s forests.

The project is a collaboration between the US National Science Foundation and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Its goal is to improve understanding of forest biodiversity, and to increase knowledge and protection of the ecosystem function and the responses of ecosystem functions to climate change, said a NNSF statement.
