US-China neutrino lab opens

A neutrino research laboratory formed by a partnership between 19 Chinese and 16 US universities has begun operating in China, Physics World has reported.

The Daya Bay Neutrino experiment is aimed at discovering the final undetermined neutrino “mixing angle”, known as θ13.
