The Chinese Academy of Engineering and the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASTC) jointly launched a research institute focused on the development of aerospace engineering technologies on 31 December.
The institute will provide consulting services to government on the development of technology strategies for the national aerospace programme. It will have industry participation.
