Synchrotron deal signed with EU

The Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics (SINP) in Kolkata, India, has signed an agreement with the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) to strengthen collaboration in synchrotron radiation science and technology.

Francesco Sette, head of the ESRF, and Milan Sanyal, head of the SINP, signed the memorandum of understanding on 16 January at a ceremony at SINP’s headquarters in Kolkata.
