Chinese officials have denied Japanese media reports that the country is taking wistful glances at the Arctic as a source of oil and gas, reports China Daily.
The Japanese daily Sankei Shimbun published an article on 28 January which claimed that China had been “eyeing greedily” the Arctic for “resources exploration”.
