The Chinese government has conferred awards on eight foreign scientists for their contribution to the country’s science and technology development.
The winners of the International Science and Technology Cooperation Awards were announced at a ceremony in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. The awards were launched in 1994 by the State Council.
