Sights set on world’s fastest supercomputer

A team of South Korean scientists is working on the development of software that will allow them to build the world’s fastest supercomputer, the Korean Science Ministry announced, according to the Korea Times on 14 February.

The Seoul National University team is developing the software to use graphic processing units (GPUs) rather than (CPUs) as the main computing device.
