PM urges more cyber cooperation

Israel's prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has called on universities to help enhance the export of Israel’s computing expertise by creating more international partnerships in the field.

In a talk at the Yuval Ne’eman workshop for science, technology and security at Tel Aviv University, Netanyahu said he wants to export Israel’s "abundant" innovation and technological capabilities in cyber technology.

Netanyahu said he has asked the head of the National Cyber Bureau, Eviatar Matania, to present a proposal on how to enhance cooperation capabilities nationally and internationally and how to export cyber services and products. The proposal is expected to be ready within a month.
