UN agency warns of possibility of nuclear warhead research

The UN’s International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has claimed in a report that Iran may have been performing research into the development of a nuclear warhead, reports The Guardian.

The agency is quoted as saying it had amassed more than 1,000 pages of documentation that nuclear warhead research had been undertaken until 2003 and “some may still be ongoing”.
