Finland and Qatar are working on plans to enhance cooperation on science and economic projects to boost renewable energy, after a visit to Finland from a Qatari delegation.
Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, the chairwoman of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, met the Confederation of Finnish Industries on 3 October. Participants at the meeting discussed knowledge-sharing between industries in the two countries and improving patenting laws on both sides to allow for better commercialisation of innovation.
