Western sanctions against Iran have not hindered the development of nanotechnology in the country, Seyed Mehdi Rezayat from the Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council said on 29 October.
“Sanctions have failed to disturb the development of nanotechnology in the country: rather, a number of [Iran-made] nano-equipments are exported to other countries,” Rezayat said, according to Fars News.
