ESA opportunity profile: How to access microgravity experiments

Adam Smith reports from a meeting held at the Open University on 9 April aimed at helping UK researchers access the European Programme for Life and Physical Sciences in Space, Elips.

What is Elips and why is it important?

Elips has existed since 2001, but some of its programmes have been running in some form since the 1980s. Elips has 1,500 scientists working across 260 projects, and 17 European countries pitching in a total of  €210 million (£180m). It is a programme of the European Space Agency.
