- Remember that numbers speak louder than words.
- Write your application with the most sceptical person in mind.
- Convince the panel that you and your team are capable of answering the question with the approach you describe.
- Get patients and the public involved from the beginning.
- In place of general statements about a disease, provide specific information about the intervention you plan to test and who could benefit.
- Don’t try to squeeze topics into funding calls that aren’t suitable.
