The Russell Sage Foundation, one of the top specialist social science funders in the United States, has opened a call on immigration and integration against a backdrop of rising nationalism. Antoaneta Roussi reports.
The Russell Sage Foundation mostly funds research that fits its four “regular programmes”. These are: social inequality; the future of work; race, ethnicity and immigration; and behavioral economics. Each of the regular programmes accepts project grant applications for up to $150,000.
The Immigration and Immigrant Integration Initiative was launched in March, in partnership with the Carnegie Corporation. It feeds into the foundation’s Race, Ethnicity and Immigration Programme.
