Stefan Söldner-Rembold is half an hour late for our interview. He was stuck in traffic; Manchester’s streets are in chaos. The night before, a suicide bomber killed 22 people at a concert in the city centre.
But he does not want to dwell on the tragedy. “Well, let’s get on with this,” he says, and swivels his chair into position.
