The Royal Society of Edinburgh’s Enterprise Fellowships have supported budding entrepreneurs from throughout the UK for 15 years. The RSE’s awards manager Anne Fraser tells Antoaneta Roussi of the society's hopes for the next round.
Enterprise Fellowships aim to help successful applicants build powerful business plans for potential products. The scheme is split into four streams that are run in conjunction with other funders: Scottish Enterprise, the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council, the Science and Technology Facilities Council and QuantIC, the UK Quantum Technology Hub in Quantum Enhanced Imaging.
Apart from the Scottish Enterprise stream, the next round of the scheme is open to applicants from anywhere in the UK. The deadline is 1 November.
