Opportunity profile: Safeguarding the memory of the Holocaust

International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance grants can be used to support research projects geared towards outputs that will make a strong impact, Rosvita Krajinovic, the IHRA’s programme officer, tells Antoaneta Roussi.

The IHRA, based in Berlin, is an intergovernmental body established in 2000 with the purpose of safeguarding the record of the Holocaust and the genocide of the Roma.

Each year it offers grants for education, remembrance and research projects. Until 2022, the IHRA will focus its grants in three areas.
