The Catapult network’s Researchers in Residence scheme is for academics looking to gain exposure to business, Nafeesa Dajda, head of partnerships and engagement at the Satellite Applications Catapult, tells Ben Upton.
Nafeesa’s top tips
- Demonstrate how your proposal fits with the strategy of the Catapult that you are applying to.
- Highlight the importance of access to business to your project.
- Make sure your impact statement goes beyond academic impact.
- Display a willingness to engage with a busy, non-academic environment.
