UK Intelligence Community Postdoctoral Research Fellowships are open to all scientists with a relevant idea, not just wannabe spooks, the Royal Academy of Engineering’s programme manager Chung-Chin Kao tells Sophie Inge.
The UK Intelligence Community Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Programme is funded by the Government Office for Science and managed by the Royal Academy of Engineering. For the past two years it has supported unclassified basic research that is useful to the intelligence, security and defence communities.
Each year, members of the UK intelligence community identify a number of research topics for applicants to develop for the research fellowship. This year they have identified 15 topics that are listed and explained in the call documentation.
