When she entered academia as a senior lecturer, Heaven Crawley didn’t have a published article to her name. She did, however, have a strong record of policy impact from her research and this has proved vital, she tells Sophie Inge.
After spells at Swansea University and the University of London’s School of Advanced Study, Crawley became professor of international migration at Coventry University in 2014. She is also leader of the South-South Migration, Inequality and Development Hub at Coventry University after the bid she led won nearly £20 milllion from the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) in December.
