Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity and Sparks child-health research grants return

Possibly the UK’s most important research grant scheme in paediatric health, the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity and the Sparks children’s medical research charity’s joint-funded project grants are now open with a deadline of 7 July. As in previous years, total costs of up to £250,000 per application will be considered, for a maximum project duration of three years. Up to £2 million is available in total.

As is also customary for this scheme, the principal funders have teamed up with a batch of rare-disease charities to encourage applications in those charities’ focus areas. This year, the charities are the Norrie Disease Foundation, Acrodysostosis Support and Research, Krabbe UK, Myotubular Trust, Kawasaki Disease UK and Ewing’s Sarcoma Research Trust.
